Terms of Service

These Terms govern your use of the Ognik app (the “App”). Using the App means you accept them. If you don't agree, don't use the App.
In case of any discrepancy between the Polish and English versions of this document, the Polish version prevails.
01Provider
The App is run by Paweł Król, a sole proprietor trading as Paweł Król (Polish NIP 6891217542, REGON 364232607), contact: support@ognik.app (“we”).
02What Ognik is
A free indoor cycling training app: a workout editor, season planner and live rides with automatic power control (ERG). The feature set may change without notice.
03Account and age
Full functionality requires an account. Give us accurate details, keep your password secret, and don't share your account. You're responsible for everything that happens on your account. The App is for people aged 16 and over.
04Health disclaimer
Ognik is not a medical device. It doesn't diagnose, treat or prevent disease. Training data (heart rate, power, FTP and other metrics) is informational only and may be inaccurate. Talk to a doctor before intense exercise. You train at your own risk and sole responsibility.
05What you can't do
Breaking the rules below can get your account suspended or deleted:
- Use the App unlawfully.
- Interfere with the App or attempt unauthorised access.
- Post or distribute unlawful content.
06Intellectual property
The App's code, design and trademarks belong to us or our licensors. You get a non-exclusive, non-transferable licence for personal use, with no copying, decompiling or redistribution. The data you create (workouts, plans, activities) stays yours.
07No warranties, limited liability
The App is provided “as is”, with no guarantee of uninterrupted or error-free operation, or fitness for a particular purpose. We don't guarantee the accuracy of sensor data or training calculations.
To the extent the law allows, we're not liable for damage arising from using, or being unable to use, the App. This doesn't apply to liability that can't be excluded towards consumers.
08Suspension and termination
We may suspend or delete an account that breaks these Terms or the law, and may discontinue the Service for valid reasons, at any time. You can delete your account yourself, whenever you want (Profile → “Delete account”).
09Inactive accounts
An account you don't use for 12 consecutive months is deleted automatically. The deletion is permanent and irreversible: everything tied to the account goes — activities together with their streams and files, workouts, plans, calendar, measurements, goals, settings, connections to third-party services (such as Strava) and the account itself. We keep no copy for recovery purposes and cannot restore any of it afterwards.
We send a warning to the account's email address 30 days before, and again 7 days before. Simply signing in before the deadline restarts the 12-month period.
10Changes to these Terms
We may change these Terms. We'll notify you of material changes in the App or by email. Continued use after they take effect means you accept them.
11Governing law and contact
These Terms are governed by Polish law, without prejudice to mandatory consumer-protection rules. Questions about these Terms or the Service: support@ognik.app.
